Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 July 2026

BITU is a media player that you subscribe to for the app itself. It supplies no channels, streams, films or playlists — you connect your own content sources. These Terms cover your use of the app and your subscription, alongside our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and BITU (“BITU”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the BITU applications and the website at bituplay.com (together, the “Service”). Please read them together with our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, installing or using BITU, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms, our Disclaimer and our Privacy Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you are using BITU on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. The service BITU provides

BITU is a media player. It ships empty and supplies no content of any kind — no channels, streams, films, series or playlists. To use BITU you connect your own Xtream Codes credentials or an M3U/M3U8 playlist from a third-party provider that you choose and subscribe to independently of BITU. Any subscription to BITU is for the player software only; it does not include, and is entirely separate from, any content or provider subscription. See our Disclaimer for more.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service and to purchase a subscription. By using BITU you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. Licence

BITU is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by BITU.

5. Subscriptions & billing

BITU offers a free trial (currently 7 days). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts into an auto-renewing paid subscription on a monthly or yearly basis. Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the app store on your device (Google Play at launch; other app stores as they become available), which acts as the seller and processes your payment.

The current price is always shown in the app before you confirm any purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price for the same period unless you cancel, and renewal charges are taken through your app-store account. You can cancel at any time in your app store's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Refunds, where available, are handled according to the refund policy of the app store you purchased through.

6. Acceptable use

You are solely responsible for the playlists, links, credentials and other sources you add to BITU, and for ensuring that you hold all rights, licences and permissions necessary to access and view that content, and that your use is lawful in your country. You agree not to use BITU to infringe any copyright or other intellectual-property right, to access content you are not authorised to access, or for any unlawful, infringing or fraudulent purpose. BITU does not condone or facilitate copyright infringement or unauthorised access to content.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that is unlawful or harmful. You may stop using BITU at any time and remove your data from your device using the app's “Log out / Clear saved data” option, or by uninstalling the app. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including the disclaimer, no-warranty, limitation-of-liability and governing-law sections — will survive.

8. No warranty & limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every provider, or that any particular playlist will function. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BITU and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any third-party content accessed through it. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the United Arab Emirates shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
